World's First iPhone 6s Gemstone Case Collection

What are gemstones?
In the dictionary, gemstones are defined as a precious or semiprecious stone, especially one cut, polished, and used in a piece of jewelry.  These days it's been more broadly categorized to minerals or other rocks that have been given a name after it has been cut and polished into a piece of jewellery or fashion accessory. Gemstones are commonly made from mineral materials such as jet, amethyst, amber or rocks like lapis lazuli.
Value:
The value of each gem is similar to any other major industry.  The value is largely influenced by the economics of supply and demand.  Therefore rare gems do carry a higher price.  Since these gems are rare and command a higher price, at MIKOL with the iphone cases, ipad, macbook, tie clip, notebooks, etc where not only does it use larger quantities of the material than your typical jewellery, but the process of making it thin causes a lot of wastage as well.  Having the gemstone the size of an iphone 6 or iPhone 6 plus and light enough to carry around is truly one of a kind, and even more rare, which in turn commands the price it is.
Story behind each gem:
Gemstones have been around for centuries and usually mentioned in many fables and fairy stories. It is often characterized as something magical brought down from the heavens to help humanity.
Below we will provide the short story of each gem we have decided to use.
Blue Lagoon iPhone 6/6s Case:
Blue lagoon is the first real sodalite marble for your iPhone 6/6s and 6/6s plus from Bolivia.
Sodalite is a rich royal blue tectosilicate mineral with beautiful white veins to give its crisp contrast.  In mythical references, the blue mineral has strong metaphysical properties that may stimulate latent abilities. It is said that the energy helps develop your intuition and psychic visions which translate to "creativity" in modern terms.  This energy also brings out qualities of idealism and truth, which is why it's said to be good for public speakers, public figures, artist, singers, painters, athletes, etc. It is recommended to carry or wear Sodalite as well as placing in every room of the home, so that its peaceful properties will flow all around one’s environment on a regular basis.
Amethyst iPhone 6/6s Case:
The first real amethyst precious stone for your iPhone 6/6s and 6/6s plus.
Amethyst is a violet variety of quartz and often used in jewelry and has been a prized gem for centuries.  The stone is included in royal collections all over the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels and even till this day. In Greek mythology, amethyst was rock crystal dyed purple by the tears of Dionysus, the god of wine and revelry. The ancient Greeks believed that the stone protected its owner from intoxication and provided clarity to one's mind.  In ancient Asian cultures, it is believed to heal and bring good fengshui to one's chi. To the Chinese, the amethyst enhances wealth and focused on giving and receiving of material wealth. At the highest level, amethyst bestows the spiritual understanding required to reach the state of bliss.
The mystical stone was thought to control evil thoughts, quicken intelligence, make a shrewd man in business, preserve soldiers from battle wounds, aid the warrior to victory, help the hunter in search of his game, protect the wearer from contagious diseases, and put demons to flight if the figure of a bear is inscribed on the jewel. Amethyst was known as a gem that would bring forth the highest, purest aspirations of human kind. Chastity, sobriety, and control over one’s thoughts were all attributes heightened by wearing the stone. This gem encouraged inner peace, bravery, and contemplation.
Pink Rose Quartz iPhone 6s Case:
Rose Quartz is another semi-precious stone from the quartz family. All quartz crystals are made from silicon and oxygen.
As you would have already guessed, Rose quartz represents love. This powerful love gem is believed to enhance one’s love life and rejuvenate one’s beauty. Rose quartz is also associated with health and healing, especially with those parts of the body and mind related to love and romance.  One Greek legend says that Cupid and Eros brought rose quartz to earth in hopes that its beautiful pink color would arouse love and desire among people.  In ancient Egyptian stories, they say the goddess Isis used rose quartz to preserve her beauty. The tradition of women in Egypt rubbing rose quartz around their eyes and cheeks continues today.
Love reduces stress and brings in happiness. Good thing now we can carry it around everywhere with us as we carry our iphone everywhere!
